We visited the Fernhill Palace & Resort Ooty on New Year 2014. This was our 3rd. visit to the palace. The USP of the resort is the vintage property summer palace of Wodyars erstwhile Maharajas of Mysore. It has breathtaking views of valley and mountains around it. It has a serene atmosphere and meant for people who want to relax and unwind by being lazy and getting served lovely food like royalties at the Banquet Hall. This property is t meant for people who want crowds, ise and action like in Goa, such visitors will be highly disappointed. We like the old british days charm of the property and you feel like being in some English country side when at Fernhill Palace in Ooty.
