Nilambur is one of the biggest towns in Malappuram district, located in north Kerala. The region is famous for its forests, tribal settlements, rivers, waterfalls and teak plantations. Nilambur is situated close to the Nilgiri range of the Western Ghats on the banks of the Chaliyar River. The Kozhikode – Ootty road passes through Nilambur. The property is located by the side of a teak plantation, which makes it more appropriate to be in Nilambur, since it is a well-known teak centre in Kerala. The Karimpuzha River borders the property.
